Contactless cards are the wave of the future in both the secure and non-secure card markets. As a secure payment card, contactless cards reduce transaction time, eliminate the need for cash and provide a level of identification for security purposes. The non-secure market is often in the form of transportation cards and used to collect fares. In both cases, just swipe and go, the card never leaves your hand. Radio frequency identification (RFID) utilizes a chip and antenna sandwiched within the card, the antenna transmits information to an active receiving unit in a secure manner.

Contactless Fobs

These devices work identically to the full-size contactless card but are designed to offer the convenience of quick access by a device attached to your key chain. The device has the chip and antenna placed into the body of the card tag and/or FOB.
